ABOUT US

MAD is a global nonprofit based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and founded by René Redzepi, chef, and owner of restaurant noma. We transform food systems through the people who work in food and hospitality around the world. Our core belief is that—if given the necessary knowledge, tools, network, and inspiration— everyone working in hospitality can play a crucial role in creating the sustainable food systems of the future. At MAD, we transform the latest knowledge from the world’s leading experts into tangible tools that the entire industry can use in their work. We share and disseminate our knowledge and tools through programs such as MAD Symposium, MAD Academy, VILD MAD, MAD Monday, and through public events and publications.
